Player of the Year

F Vicki Anagnostopoulos, Good Counsel, Sr.
The forward had 24 goals and 23 assists to lead her team to the semifinals of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference tournament. The WCAC player of the year, who finished her career with 69 goals and 53 assists, will play for Princeton.

Coach of the Year

Mark Wolcott, Tuscarora
Third-year coach guided the Titans to the Maryland 3A title this fall after leading them to the 1A crown last season in the their first year on the varsity level. Wolcott came to Tuscarora when the school opened in 2002 and since beginnng varsity play, the Titans have gone a combined 33-3.

Star Performance

Charlotte Rizzi scored both of Whitman's goals in regulation and converted a penalty kick in the tie-breaker to lift the Vikings over Quince Orchard in the 4A West Region final.

First Team

GK Yewande Balogun, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jr.
Allowed just six goals to lead her team to the Maryland 4A South Region title.

D Jerica DeWolfe, St. John's, Jr.
Sweeper anchored a defense that posted 15 shutouts. She was also the second-leading scorer for the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champion, netting 25 goals.

D Christin Mattingly, Churchill, Sr.
One of the area's best one-on-one defenders led a unit that allowed just 12 goals in as many games.

D Amanda Meehan, Tuscarora, Sr.
Anchored a unit that allowed just five goals in 18 games and also posted three goals and six assists for the Maryland 3A champion.

MF Molly Franklin, Tuscarora, Sr.
Posted a team-high 17 goals and six assists to lead team to Maryland 3A title. Will play for Clemson.

MF Christine Nairn, Spalding, Soph.
Had a team-high 16 goals and 10 assists for the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference finalist.

MF Charlotte Rizzi, Whitman, Jr.
Posted 10 goals and 10 assists to lead her team to its second consecutive Maryland 4A final.

F Lily Boleyn, Centennial, Sr.
Had a team-high 13 goals to go along with five goals for the Howard County champion. Will play for Clemson.

F Liz Carroll, O'Connell, Jr.
Scored a team-high 28 goals with 13 assists to lead her team to the semifinals of the WCAC tournament. Has scored 51 goals the past two seasons.

F Tiffany McCarty, St. John's, Soph.
Had a school-record 59 goals and 17 assists to lead her team to its first WCAC tournament title. In two seasons, she has already set school career records with 110 goals and 37 assists.

Two-time All-Met posted eight goals and five assists for the Anne Arundel County champion.
