PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Led team to Group AAA state title and 30-0 record. Shot 50 percent from the field and 41 from three-point
range in averaging 15 points, 6 assists, 6 steals and 5 rebounds. 1,610 career points.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Guided Warhawks to 30-0 record and Virginia Group AAA crown. Has
an 11-year 227-72 record. . . Won three Virginia State Catholic League
titles in six years at O'Connell and three Great Falls District titles
in five years at Madison.
First team All-Met last season. Averaged 22.3 points, 10.1
rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists per game. Has school record of
1,802 points and led Indians to 92-14 record and four straight Virginia
Group AAA quarterfinals.
Finished career as school leader with 2,149 points, 1,458 rebounds
and 339 blocks. Inside force who helped Lancers win four
consecutive Gunston District titles. Averaged 22.5 points, 15.9
rebounds and 4.5 blocks.
Led Wheaton to finest record in years -- 18-3 and Maryland region
playoff berth. Averaged 25.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4
steals per game. Versatile senior led team in virtually every
category; excellent shooting touch.
Two-time All-Met has excellent touch around the basket and is tough
rebounder. Averaged 23 points, 16.3 rebounds and 5.3 blocks per
game. Owns school records of 1,740 points and 1,200 rebounds. 81-14 four-year mark.
Fine all-around player with ability to hit the perimeter shot or
drive to the basket. Averaged 22.6 points, 8.6 assists and 4.3
assists for 18-4 Panthers, who earned second straight Maryland region
berth. Averaged two three-pointers.
Probably the best perimeter shooter in the area as she averaged
nearly three three-pointers per game. Averaged 20.7 points, 5
rebounds and 2 steals. Scored 2,027 career points and led team to
103-16 four-year record.
Northern District scoring leader last three seasons . Potent
scorer inside and outside; led Rams to state title last year and
Northern Region quarterfinals this season. Shot 55 percent from the
field in averaging 22.1 points.
Could be the best inside player to ever play in the Interhigh League. Fine shooting touch; shot better than 55 percent from the field
and 75 from the line. Averaged 20.3 points, 14 rebounds, 6 steals,
5 assists and 3 blocks.
Excellent playmaker who passed and shot Blue Devils to 24-2 record
and Maryland Class 4A runner-up spot. Averaged 17 points, 6 assists
and 4 steals. Sank 35 three-pointers and won several games with
