1996 All-Met Girls Cross-Country Team

RUNNER OF THE YEAR
Two-time All-Met led the Wildcats to their second consecutive Va. AAA title.
Won first Va. AAA championship this season.
Went undefeated after losing first race of the year.
Chalked up wins at Bull Run Invitational, The Festival at Great Meadow, Concorde District and Northern Region championships.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Won the 1996 Maryland 3A girls state championship for the first time in 10 years
Won the 3A West Region Championships and the Georgetown Prep Invitational large schools race.
First-time All-Met. Won the Georgetown Prep Invitational and the Patriot District Championships. Took second in the Va. AAA State Championships.
Repeat All-Met. Won the Monroe-Parker Invitational and the Va. Tech Invitational. Third at Va. AAA State Championship meet.
First year running cross-country. Won Maryland 2A State Championships with the second-fastest time of the day. Won Montgomery County Championships. Undefeated in county.
Repeat All-Met. Key member of Centreville's Va. State Championship team. Second at Georgetown Prep Invitational, third at William & Mary Invitational and fourth at state championships. Will attend University of Miami next year.
First season running cross-country. Won the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championships, leading her team to its second consecutive title. Third at the Georgetown Prep Invitational and fifth at Fleet Feet Invitational.
Won Palotti Invitational. Fourth at Fleet Feet and Bull Run Invitationals. Fifth in the Northern Region and sixth at Va. AAA State Championships.
First-time All-Met. Fourth place in the Northern Region and 12thplace at Va. State meet. Fifth place in the Concorde District.
