Won four events at Virginia AAA Northern Region championship in leading Wildcats to victory. Set region record in triple jump of 39 feet 5 inches. State champion in 55 meters (area-best of 7:08) and long jump (area-best of 19-4 )

COACH OF THE YEAR

H.D. Woodson
Led Warriors to second consecutive DCIAA championship. Teams have won eight DCIAA outdoor titles.

FIRST TEAM
Stacey Carpenter

Senior
Virginia AAA state champion in 1,600 and 1,000 meters. Had area-best time in 1,000 (2:54.3) and second best in 1,600 (5:01.69)

Tamika Coombs

Senior
Repeat All-Met. Area's second-best time in 500 (1:15.4). In 800, second in Maryland 4A, 12th at national meet.

Sally Glynn

Junior
Won high school mile at Millrose Games. Maryland 3A state champion in 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters.

Laura Heiner

Freshman
Virginia AAA state champion in 3,200 meters. Won 1,600 and 3,200 as Centreville won team championship.

Michelle Mundey

Junior
Repeat All-Met. DCIAA champion in 55 hurdles (7.24 seconds). Won 200 at Delaware Invitational (25.310)

Kristen Nicolini

Senior
Second in Millrose Game high school mile. Maryland 4A state champion in 800 meters, setting state record of 53.93 in 400 at national championships.

Suziann Reid
Eleanor Roosevelt
Senior
Repeat All-Met. Maryland 4A state champion in 300 (39.4) and 500 (1:14.0) meters. Set meet record of 53.93 in 400 at national championships.

Alexis Simmons

Area-best of 24.83 in 200 meters. DCIAA champion in 55 meters (best of 7.24) and 300 (best of 41.06).

Alease Tate

Senior
Area best distance of 39-11 in shot put. Virginia AAA Northwestern Region champion. Ninth nationally.
