  • Repeat All-Met Athlete of the Year.
  • Won triple jump and placed second in 60-meter hurdles at Nike Indoor Classic.
  • Won Virginia AAA title in 55-meter hurdles and set state record in triple jump (42-4½).

  • Led Indians to first-ever Virginia AAA indoor track title.
  • Also guided Indians to Cardinal District and Northwestern Region indoor titles.



    GIRLS FIRST TEAM

    Alyssa Aiken Chantilly Jr.
    Virginia AAA champion in 300 (39.30). Northern Region champion in 55, 55 hurdles and 300.

    K.C. Allen Calvert Sr.
    Repeat All-Met. Maryland 4A/3A champion in pole vault. Had area's best pole vault (11-4½).

    Liz Awtrey Robinson Sr.
    Repeat All-Met. Virginia AAA champion in 1,600 and 3,200. Verbally committed to Villanova.

    Jessica DeFreitas Eleanor Roosevelt Sr.
    Maryland 4A/3A champion in 55. Helped Raiders win its fifth straight team title.

    Carla Franklin Laurel Sr.
    County, regional and Maryland 4A/3A champion in high jump. Tied Prince George's County record in high jump (5-6).

    Donisha Freeman Mount Vernon Jr.
    Top local finisher in shot put at Virginia AAA championships. Placed second in the event at Northern Region meet.

    Tianna Goldring La Plata Jr.
    Won high jump at five invitational meets and at Maryland 3A/2A East Region and state meets.

    Lee McDuff River Hill Soph.
    Maryland 2A/1A champion in 1,600 and 3,200. Area's top time in 1,500 (4:50.0) and 3,000 (10:40.0).

    Sharon O'Connor Mount Vernon Sr.
    Repeat All-Met. Nike Indoor Classic champion in 800. Won 1,000, took second in 1,600 at Virginia AAA championships.

    Kelley Otstott Jefferson Soph.
    Repeat All-Met. Northern Region champion in 1,600. Area's top time in 1,000 (2:56.5) and 1,600 (4:57.93).

    Faith Rein Centreville Sr.
    Repeat All-Met. Virginia AAA champion in 55. Nation's top time in 300 (39.05).

    Yolanda Thompson West Potomac Sr.
    Repeat All-Met. Virginia AAA champion in long jump (19-8).
