Shot 69-72 to win Maryland state individual championship and lead team to second straight state title. WMGA Junior Open Champion. Anne Arundel County champion third straight year. Repeat All-Met.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Don Roth
Madison
Warhawks won second Virginia AAA state championship in three years and Northern Region title.

FIRST TEAM
G.W. Cable
Oakton
Sophomore
Bobby Bowers and Bobby Gorin age 14-15 titlist. Virginia AAA Northern Region champion.

Kelly Doyle
Whitman
Senior
Played No. 2 on coed team. Third in Maryland state girls championships. Earned golf scholarship to Charleston Southern.

David Heinemann
Quince Orchard
Sophomore
Led Maryland golfers with a 75.0 stroke average. Ninth in state as Cougars finished second.

Danny Mensh
Landon
Senior
Repeat All-Met. Three-time all-IAC selection. Bobby Gorin medalist, 1992. Led Bears to IAC and Metro Private School titles.

Chad Moseley

Sophomore
Fourth-place finish in Virginia AAA state tournament helped Warhawks to second state title in three years. Second at Quantico tournament.

Jason Pool
Langley
Senior
Won Virginia AAA individual championship with two-round score of 153. Great Falls District champion. U.S. Junior qualifier.

Mark Rottmann
Bowie
Sophomore
Fourth in Maryland state individual championships, helping Bulldogs to fifth overall. Prince George’s County district medalist.

Keith Unikel
Churchill
Freshman
Montgomery County district champion; second in Maryland state tournament. Won WMGA Junior and University of Maryland Junior.

Chris York
Georgetown Prep
Senior
Repeat All-Met. Two-time all-IAC selection. Poor Roberts Charity Golf Classic champion. Second in AJGA Myrtle Beach Classic.
