Erin Clasper | Wootton
Senior was a two-time All-Met, repeat Maryland state girls champion. Won the District II girls championship, finished fourth overall in the tournament. Her 18-hole stroke average was 79. Will play for Maryland next fall.
Mychael Cohn | Landon
Senior led team to seventh straight Interstate Athletic Conference title this spring. Went 10-1 in No. 1 spot, with only loss a forfeit due to back injury. His 18-hole scoring average this season was a 76.2. He was also an All-Met in 1997. Committed to Richmond.
Steve Doerrer | DeMatha
Sophomore won the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference individual championship by three strokes. Played in Stags' No. 3 spot this spring and was undefeated at 11-0.
Vertti Iso-Ahola | Douglass
Three-time All-Met. Senior, who is bound for Maryland, won the Prince George's County individual championship for the fourth straight year with a 1-under par 70. Nine-hole average was 37 in 12 matches this spring. Won all 12 matches.
Matt Johnson | Fairfax
Junior tied for second place in the Virginia AAA Northern Region tournament last fall, and was runner-up in Quantico Invitational Classic. Team's No. 1 player for three straight years and it's captain for the last two.
Matt Mondorff | DeMatha
Senior won private school championship with a 73. Played in Stags' No. 1 spot and lost one individual WCAC match this season. Will play for Winthrop this fall.
Kevin O'Connell | Georgetown Prep
Repeat All-Met. Junior won second straight IAC championship. Went 7-1 during regular season, averaging 37.8 strokes over nine holes.
John Scott Rattan | Watkins Mill
Junior's stroke average of 72.4 was the best in Montgomery County. Finished third at state tournament with a two-day total of 147. Placed second with 72 at district championship.
Billy Suh | Chantilly
Freshman breezed to the Virginia AAA Northern Region championship with 68. Placed third at Virginia AAA state tournament with a two-day score of 152. Averaged 38 strokes per nine holes.
