    Caroline Kent
    Woodbridge's leading scorer the past three seasons; led the team with 21 goals and 14 assists this spring.
    Helped the the Vikings capture the Virginia AAA Cardinal District title the past three seasons.
    Signed with George Mason University.

    Coach of the Year
    Kathy Clark
    Led Cougars to first undefeated regular season in school history (8-0-4) and first Virginia AAA Concorde District regular season title in her three seasons at the school.
    Guided Oakton through a difficult first half of the season, in which the Cougars lost six players to season-ending injuries.

    Jaclyn Benjamin | Oakton
    The junior defender has a penchant for scoring incredible goals off free kicks from all over the field. Benjamin was the Cougars' leading scorer, with nine goals and eight assists.

    Kim Bonafede | Robinson
    The sophomore allowed five goals all season, and had 12 consecutive shutouts during the regular season. Blocked a penalty kick in games against W.T. Woodson and Lake Braddock to preserve wins.

    Jennifer Grillo | West Springfield
    The senior helped anchor the midfield for the Spartans, recording 10 goals and 10 assists. Grillo, a first-team All-Patriot District selection, scored both of West Springfield's goals in an early-season 2-0 victory over Robinson.

    Natalie Ingold | Hylton
    Ingold usually drew a challenging assignment on defense, marking the opposition's top scoring forward or midfielder. The 5-foot-6 junior defender often plays on the wing and has contributed to Hylton's solid defense.

    Emily McArthur | West Springfield
    Repeat All-Met. Scored more goals (three) than the Spartans allowed through the Patriot District tournament (two). Patriot District player of the year in 1998. The senior defender has signed with Tulane.

    Megan Monteith | Chancellor
    The talented senior midfielder led the Chargers on offense, recording 42 goals and 51 assists in her career. She had six goals and 13 assists this spring. Signed with American.

    Christy Metzger | Lake Braddock
    A member of the under-17 U.S. national team pool, this midfielder has a deft touch and a nose for the goal. Named the 1999 Patriot District player of the year. Junior also participates in field hockey and indoor track.

    Lara Pawlow | Jefferson
    Repeat All-Met was team captain at the Alexandria school and led the Colonials in scoring the past two seasons. Senior forward had 12 goals and 10 assists this season and was named the most valuable player on offense for Colonials the past three seasons.

    Taline Tahmassian | Langley
    The Saxons' quick sophomore forward had 21 goals this season. She helped Langley win its first district title since 1985 and combined with older sister, Nadia, to form strong front line.

    Ann Weaver | Woodbridge
    The junior forward was one of the top weapons on a Woodbridge team that scored 90 goals through the Cardinal District tournament. The quick all-around player had 15 goals and 13 assists this season.

    Kristen Wolfer | Robinson
    The senior midfielder scored eight goals, but her accurate passing – including 11 assists – anchored Robinson's offense this season. Wolfer, who has signed with William and Mary, had 30 goals and 48 assists in her career.
