SWIMMER OF THE YEAR
Virginia AAA Northern Region champion in 200-yard individual medley (2:08.55) and 100 backstroke (59.54). Undefeated in district competition past two seasons. Holds school records in five events. Junior National qualifier in seven events.
COACH OF THE YEAR
Led Spartans to second consecutive Va. AAA Northern Region and state championships. Team members set two state records, five district records and seven school records.
Va. AAA Northern Region and state champion in the 500-yard freestyle. Best times of 4:59.22 in 500 freestyle, 58.66 in 100 butterfly
Two-time All-Met. Won the 50-yard freestyle at Virginia state and Northern Region championships. Also won region 100 freestyle. Best times of 24.56 in 50 and 53.45 in 100
Set record of 473.08 for 11 dives in winning Va. Northern Region championship. Won Concorde District championship
Three-time All-Met. Won the 500-yard freestyle (5:00.04) and100 backstroke (59.09) at Metros championship. Undefeated in dual meet competition.
Two-time All-Met Set National Catholic championships record in 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.32) and voted meet's MVP. Won 100 breaststroke at Metros.
Won 50-yard freestyle (24.32) and was second in the 100 (58.8) butterfly at Metro championships. Montgomery County 100 and 200 freestyles champion.
Two-time All-Met. Won 100- and 200-yard freestyles at Va. state invitational. Best times of 24.33 in 50 freestyle, 51.83 in 100 and 1:52.18 in 200.
