Pitcher Jason Miller, Sherwood, Sr. Pitched three no-hitters and a one-hitter and finished with a 4-2 record, 1.11 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 38 innings. Hit .426 with three home runs and six doubles. Pitcher Seth Overbey, McDonough, Sr. Two-time All-Met was 9-0 with 0.64 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 55 innings. Maryland signee also hit .408 with three home runs. Pitcher Andrew Wells, St. Stephen's/SA, Sr. Went 7-2 with two saves and a 0.80 earned run average. Virginia Tech-bound left-hander registered 81 strikeouts in 52 innings and batted .433. Catcher Matt Foley, Madison, Jr. Hit .550 with 29 runs scored and 27 RBI. Owns single-season school record for batting average, hitting .540 as a sophomore. Stole 16 bases and only struck out once. Hit .481 with six home runs, including two three-run shots in the same game. Compiled a 7-1 record with a 2.04 ERA and pitched a one-hitter. Outfield Michael Campbell, Handley, Sr. South Carolina-bound Campbell hit .445, at one point reaching base in 19 consecutive at-bats. Also went 10-0 as a pitcher, winning a school-record 16 straight decisions over two seasons. Outfield Adam Heffron, Hammond, Sr. Four-year starter hit .451 with 31 runs scored and 31 runs batted in. Towson signee stole 21 bases in 21 attempts and made no errors. Outfield Matt Lewis, Broadneck, Sr. Set single-season school record with .500 batting average. Had three home runs and 10 steals. Utility Steve Bowen, Northeast, Sr. Led Eagles with a .508 batting average and committed just four errors in more than 100 infield chances. Hit three home runs, eight doubles and stole 12 bases. |

She had 183 strikeouts and a 0.56 ERA. Pitcher Karie Morrison, Park View, Jr. Repeat All-Met tossed 12 shutouts, three no-hitters and a perfect game. Broke her own school record with 226 strikeouts. Hit .426 with two triples and 19 RBI. Pitcher Katie Zitnay, Atholton, Sr. Two-time All-Met was 19-2 with a 0.50 ERA for Maryland 2A West Region semifinalist. Batted .455 with 28 RBI and 24 runs scored. Catcher Jessie Olownia, Broad Run, Sr. Batted .451 with 26 runs scored and 26 stolen bases. Second Base Ashley Blandford Thomas Stone, Jr. Three-time All-Met hit a career-high .532 with 23 RBI. Posted 42-game consecutive hit streak across three seasons. Signed with West Virginia Weslyan. Shortstop Meghan Cowen, Spalding, Sr. Helped Cavaliers capture their 13th IAAM title in 14 seasons, hitting .410 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored. Will play at Pennsylvania. Outfield Heather Frye, North County, Sr. Struck out only three times this season, hitting .440 with 4 doubles, 2 triples, 12 runs scored and 14 RBI for Maryland 4A East Region champion.
