She also won the inaugural girls' state championship by 12 strokes. | 
| Coach of the Year | Mike Dichov Churchill Third-year coach directed the Bulldogs to an 11-stroke victory at the Maryland 4A/3A championship after finishing as state runner-up for two straight seasons. Churchill also won the District 2 title with a starting lineup that had no seniors. | 
| First Team | Frank Alafoginis, Churchill, Jr.: Placed fifth at Maryland championships with 1-under-par 71 and helped Bulldogs to the 4A/3A team title. Placed second at District 2 championships with 2-over 73. Greg Carlin, Georgetown Prep, Jr.: Won Metros championship with a nine-hole score of 1-under-par 34. Finished third at Interstate Athletic Conference championships with 3-over 74. Had nine-hole average of 37.1. Brian Carneal, Northeast, Sr.: Extremely long driver won the Maryland championship with a 4-under 68. Finished second at Anne Arundel County championships and tied for second at District 5 tournament. Stephanie Connelly, Northeast, Soph.: Repeat All-Met won the Maryland girls' and Anne Arundel County championships for the second straight year. In September, she competed on the U.S. team at the Junior Ryder Cup. Joe Gross, La Plata, Soph.: Repeat All-Met won the Charles County, Southern Maryland Athletic Conference and District 4 championships as Warriors won all three events. Tied for ninth at Maryland championships. Chris McCartin, Yorktown, Jr.: Repeat All-Met won the National District championship and his second consecutive Northern Region crown with a two-round total of 1-over 145. Finished 12th at states (8-over 148). Garrett Pike, Potomac Falls, Sr.: Three-time All-Met won the Dulles District championship with even-par 71, placed third at Region II tournament with 74, and 13th at Virginia AA championships with 154. Will Shriver, Gonzaga, Sr.: Repeat All-Met went undefeated in match play competition for WCAC regular season champions. Lost only twice in four-year career. Finished tied for fourth at WCAC tournament with 78. Kevin Vollmer, Georgetown Prep, Jr.: Won the IAC championship with a 5-under-par 66 and tied for second at the Private Schools Championship. Undefeated in head-to-head play and had a nine-hole average of 37. |
