Scored a 10 on vault at regionals and the following week led Langley to its first state championship. Finished third all-around (38.60) at the individual state championships. Will compete for George Washington. | 
| Coach of the Year | Karen Lutman, Stonewall Jackson Raiders' coach for more than two decades guided Stonewall Jackson to its first Virginia AAA Northwestern Region team title since 1983 with a school-record score of 149.50. The following week at the state championhips, the Raiders pulled together after a key gymnast was injured and rallied to finish third. | 
| First Team | Jessie Cunningham, Broad Run, Fr. Swept all four individual events and the all-around at the Virginia AA Dulles District championships. Placed fourth on balance beam (9.8) at state championships.
Megan Shores, Langley, Sr. Key component to Langley's state championship-winning squad. Won the balance beam title (9.825) at AAA Northern Region championships and placed ninth all-around at states.
Erin Stack, Stonewall Jackson, Soph. Especially graceful tumbler won floor (9.65) and all-around titles at the AAA Northwestern Region championships. Medaled at states, finshing sixth all-around (38.10).
Valerie Voorhies, Chantilly, Soph. Finished third all-around (37.125) at the AAA Concorde District championships and second all-around (37.425) at Northern Region championships. Tied for 10th all-around at state championships.
Decelia Willacy, Springbrook, Sr. Repeat All-Met was Montgomery County's most dominant gymnast for the third year in a row, winning all-around titles at the county and state championships. Will compete for Towson. |
