Repeat All-Met. Had 479 assists, 96 digs on defense and 44 aces for No. 2 Patriots (25-0), who won Maryland Class 4A title. Four-time all-SMAC selection. All-Met in softball as junior.

COACH OF THE YEAR
Cheryl Lord
Northern
The 22-year high school coach, who retired at end of season, led No. 2 Patriots (25-0) to Maryland 4A championship. Had 85-4 five-year record at the Owings school, which was unbeaten in SMAC in that span. Team who Maryland 3A title in 1990.

Successful on 55 percent of hits for 16-1 Maryland 3A West Region semifinalists.

With 597 assists, led Howard County champions to fourth consecutive Maryland 3A state title.

With 138 kills and 188 assists, led Prince George's County champions to Maryland 4A state semifinalists.

Brooke Olsen

Senior
With 405 assists and setting accuracy of 96 percent, led 18-2 Cougard to Maryland 4A state final.
