Player of the Year
Keosha Sanders, Brooke Point, Sr.
With wins in the 55 hurdles (8.18 seconds) and 300 (40.18) at the Virginia AAA Championships, the Iowa State-bound standout nearly led the Black-Hawks to their first state championship of any kind. Brooke Point took second as a team. Won Northwestern Region Championships in the 55, 55 hurdles, 300 and long jump.

Coach of the Year
Leslie Thomas, Long Reach
After taking a year off to have a baby, Thomas returned to the Lightning and guided Long Reach to its fourth straight Howard County title and second straight Maryland 3A/2A championship, feats made more impressive considering stars Teyarnte Carter and Cynthia Nicholls had graduated.

First Team
April Butler, Gwynn Park, Sr.
Formerly a 500 meter specialist, Butler expanded her repertoire at the Maryland 3A/2A Championships, winning the 300 (40.50), 500 (1:15.46) and 800 (2:19.60).

Rachel Clinton, Oakland Mills, Sr.
Won the Maryland 2A/1A 55 hurdles title in 8.55 seconds, then exceeded expectations at the New Balance National Scholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships by finishing sixth in the 60 hurdles.

Tysha Colon, H.D. Woodson, Sr.
Two-time indoor track All-Met won the 55 and took second in the 300 at DCIAA Championships to help Warriors to team title. Finished fifth in 200 at Nike Indoor Classic.

Antoinette Gorham, Eleanor Roosevelt, Sr.
Won 500 (1:15.32) to help Raiders to Maryland 4A/3A title. Also was part of Eleanor Roosevelt 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams that finished fourth and third, respectively, at Nike Indoor Classic.

Rolanda Howard, Long Reach, Sr.
Won 55 hurdles in meet-record 8.4 seconds at Howard County Championships to help Lightning to fourth straight title. Took third in same event at Maryland 3A/2A Championships and was vital part of Long Reach's state champion 4x200 relay team.

Erica Johnson, H.D. Woodson, Jr.
Won DCIAA titles in 300 (43.40) and 500 (1:21.40) and was part of Warriors' victorious 4x200 relay team. Took third at Nike Indoor Classic in 400 (58.18).

Lee McDuff, River Hill, Sr.
Three-time indoor track All-Met won Maryland 3A/2A title in 3,200 (11:51.10) and took second in the mile (5:25.70). Won both events at Howard County Championships.

Krystle Moss, Jefferson, Sr.
Two-time indoor track All-Met won Virginia AAA high jump title for second straight year by clearing 5-7. Took second at Nike Indoor Classic after clearing 5-8E.

Kelley Otstott, Jefferson, Sr.
Won 1,000 (2:57.28) and 1,600 meters (4:57.97) at Virginia AAA Championships. Georgetown-bound standout took third in 800 and fourth in 1,600 at Nike Indoor Classic.

Alexandra Van Heuven, Lake Braddock, Jr.
Versatile athlete took fourth in 55 hurdles, second in triple jump and long jump, and was part of the Bruins' winning 4x200 relay team. Won three events at Northern Region Championships.

Imani White, Frederick, Sr.
Double-winner at Maryland 4A/3A Championships in the 55 (7.10) and 300 (40.30). Took fifth in 60 meters (7.60) at Nike Indoor Classic.
