The 10th grader-and three-time All-Met has already left her mark on the D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association record books. Smallwood won four events at the DCIAA championships in February -- the 55, 300, 500 and 1,000 -- to bring her career total to 12 individual titlesÑseven indoors, four outdoors and one in cross-country | 
| Coach of the Year | Elisabeth Shook, Westlake Shook, in her second season at the Waldorf school, built a deep squad that took the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference, Maryland 3A/2A East Region and 3A/2A state championship this season. | 
| First Team | Bever-leigh Holloway, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jr. Holloway was regional champion in the 55-meter dash, Prince George's County champion in the long jump and county runner-up in the 55 hurdles. Toni Aluko, Paint Branch, Sr. Three-time All-Met was state, regional and Montgomery County champ in the high jump, with a season best of 5-7. Has committed to Maryland. Sarah Bowman, Fauquier, Jr. The five-time All-Met has won the 1,000 and 1,600 meters at the Virginia AA meet. Ranked sixth in the nation in the 1,000 and first in the 1,600. Waquesha Canty, C.H. Flowers, Fr. Canty captured the Maryland 4A/3A title in the 55 with a time of 7.20 seconds. She ran a leg in the second-place 4x200 relay. Lauren Centrowitz, Broadneck, Sr. The three-time All-Met won her third straight Maryland 4A/3A title in the 1,600. Centrowitz took third in the mile at the Nike Indoor Championships (area-best 4:54.26). Melissa Dewey, Hayfield, Jr. Virginia AAA runner-up in the 3,200 meters, Dewey earned all-American honors in the race at the Nike Indoor Championships. JaQuay Evans, Westlake, Sr. Won the Maryland 3A/2A championship in the 55 meters with an area-best time of 7.13 seconds. Was SMAC champ in long jump and 55. Ashley Haislip, Lake Braddock, Jr. Haislip was Patriot District, Northern Region and Virginia AAA high jump champ. Her 5-9 leap at the DCIAA Invitational was fifth best in the country. Takecia Jameson, Eleanor Roosevelt, Fr. Speedy freshman burst on to the scene with state titles in the 300 and 500. Jameson took fourth in the 400 at the Nike Indoor Championships. Tiffany Nesfield, C.H. Flowers, Sr. Five-time All-Met swept the Prince George's County, 4A/3A East Region and state titles in the 55 hurdles. Was fourth in the 60 hurdles at Nike championships. Michaylin Golladay, Largo, Soph. Golladay won the 55 titles at the Prince George's County championships, the DCIAA Invitational and Prince George's County championships. |
