Colleen Haase, Sr.
Good Counsel
The three-time All-Met defended her two Metros titles with automatic all-American times in the 100-yard breaststroke (1 minute 2.01 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:05.02). She also swam on the Falcons' all-American 200 medley relay championship team (1:47.85). She led Good Counsel to its 11th consecutive Metros team title. Will swim for Georgia.

In her 12th season at the Rockville school, Krukiel led the Rockets to their third consecutive Montgomery County championship and a third straight third-place finish at Metros. Richard Montgomery has won 23 consecutive dual meets over the last four seasons.

Chuang, 14, set the 100-yard backstroke record at Metros with an automatic all-American time of 55.62, finished second in the 200 IM (automatic all-American time of 2:05.67) and was part of a record-setting 400 free relay (3:29.67). The three-time All-Met took second at the Virginia AAA meet in the 100-meter breaststroke with an automatic all-American time of 1:10.33. She also took second in the 100 freestyle (57.64). Her 4:56.52 in the 500-yard freestyle was an automatic all-American time. The repeat All-Met is the area's top distance freestyler. Won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle at Metros with automatic all-American times (1:49.45, 4:48.68). Is the three-time county champ in the 200 and 500 free. Will swim for UNC. The repeat All-Met swam on Yorktown's all-American and state champion 200-meter medley (2:01.35) and 200 freestyle (1:49.04) relays as the Patriots won the Virginia AAA title. Finished second at states in the 50 free. Will swim for Harvard. Hostage set a Metros one-meter diving record with a score of 512.10. Last summer, she finished in the top 15 at the World Junior Diving Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Will dive for Stanford.

The repeat All-Met defended her Virginia AAA championships in the 50-meter freestyle (26.47) and the 100 freestyle (57.17). Both were automatic all-American times. She also anchored the Rams' all-American and state champion 400 freestyle relay (3:55.88). Ritter completed her illustrious career by winning a pair of Virginia AA championships. She won her fourth 500-yard freestyle crown and set a new state record with an automatic all-American time of 4:55.26. She also won the 200 freestyle in 1:53.60. Will swim for Virginia Tech. The two-time All-Met defended her Virginia AAA 100-meter butterfly championship (1:02.66) and finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:03.56). Both were automatic all-American times. She won both of those events at the Northern Region meet. The three-time All-Met set a Metros record in the 50-yard freestyle with an automatic all-American time of 23.27 and took the 100 freestyle title in 50.36. She also was part of the winning relay teams at Metros in the 200 freestyle (1:38.62) and 200 medley (1:47.85). Will swim for Princeton.
