Player of the Year

Takecia Jameson, Sr.
Eleanor Roosevelt
On a team full of stars, Jameson shined brightest. She owned the fastest time in the country in the 500 (1:12.61) and the second fastest time on a flat track in the 300 meters (39.30). Jameson also ran a 54-second split on the Raiders' distance medley team that set a meet record (11:48.68) at Nike Indoor Nationals. Will compete for Miami.

Coach of the Year

Scott Silverstein
Churchill
The fourth-year coach guided a Bulldogs team that scored just 12 points at the state meet two seasons ago to second place at the 4A/3A championships, their best finish in school history. With the help of assistant Dave Warren, Silverstein also helped Churchill earn its first 4A/3A Central Region championship and second straight Montgomery County title.

A three-time All-Met, Brown won titles in the 55 (7.10) and the 300 (41.70) at the DCIAA championships and ran on the winning 4x200 relay team.	Repeated as Virginia AAA long jump champion with an area-best leap of 19 feet 7 1/4 inches. The three-time All-Met also ran on the 4x200 relay team that won the state title in 1:43.16.	The three-time All-Met won the Maryland 4A/3A 55 hurdles title (8.12), running a 4A-record 8.01 in the semifinal. Won the state high jump title with a record-tying 5-8.	The five-time All-Met won the Virginia AAA 3,200 title in a personal-best 10:46.51, the area's best time. Won the 1,600 at regionals. Will run for William & Mary.

Osbourn Park, Jr.	Eleanor Roosevelt, Sr.	T.C. Williams, Sr.	Whitman, Jr.
Hyter placed second in the 500 at the Virginia AAA meet (1:16.38) a week after winning the Northwestern Region title. She also anchored the Yellow Jackets' victorious 4x400 relay team at states.	The four-time All-Met won the 500 at the Maryland 4A/3A meet for the second straight year. Was a member of the Raiders' elite 4x800 relay. Will run for Miami.	Koroma consistently topped 41 feet in the shot put. Won the Virginia AAA title (42- 1/2 ) and set a personal best at the Patriot District meet (43-4 1/2 ).	Set Montgomery County meet records in the 500 (1:16.26) and 800 (2:17.96). Won both those events in the 4A/3A West Region, was runner-up at states.

The three-time All-Met was runner-up in the high jump at the Virginia AAA meet (area-best 5-9). Won regional title in the triple jump (area-best 39-8 1/4 ). Will compete for Clemson.	Won the Maryland 4A/3A East title in the 800 (2:18.43) and won the state title in 2:15.54. She also ran on the Raiders' sprint medley team that took second at Nike Indoor Nationals.	The two-time All-Met won the state 4A/3A 1,600 title in a meet-record 5:00.59; also won the 3,200 crown. Anchored the Raiders' elite 4x800 team. Will run for N.C. State.
