Northwestern 34-9 in front of 96,596 in State College, PA. The Wildcat loss ended their 13-game Big Ten winning streak and likely
ended their Rose Bowl hopes.

OSU Starts Slow, Rolls Over Gophers
Ohio State shrugged off a sluggish start and four first half turnovers to run away from Minnesota, 45-0. The win put Ohio State
in the drivers seat for a trip to the Rose Bowl.
Nebraska Tops Sooners, 73-21

Scott Frost threw three touchdowns and Nebraska's defense picked off four passes, including one returned 83 yards for a touchdown as the Cornhuskers downed Oklahoma 73-21. It was the
worst loss at home for Oklahoma in school history.
Irish Eyes Still Smiling in Dublin

Notre Dame running back Autry Denson was benched to start the Fighting Irish's game against Navy in Dublin, Ireland. But Lou Holtz put Denson in and he produced, coming up with 123 yards and two touchdowns to give Notre Dame a 54-27 win.
Rice Runs Over No. 20 Utah, 51-10
The Owls of Rice University rolled up 496 rushing yards to
crush No. 20 Utah, 51-10. It was the Owls fourth straight win and also the fourth straight time they gained more than 400 yards on the ground. Rice's Spencer George scored on a 76-yard run that helped end Utah's seven game winning streak.
