Olympics Fantasy Contest

Congratulations to Robbie Davis, the winner of Washingtonpost.com's Winter Olympics fantasy contest. Robbie chose the United States, Canada, Germany, Russia and Norway, accumulating 305 points. Connie Auger and Scott McDermott, who chose the same five nations, also ended up at 305, but Davis won on the tiebreaker, correctly predicting the United States would win 13 medals. To see if you won a prize, check out our final leaders page.

RULES

  • Prior to Monday, February 9 at 5 p.m. EST, each participant will choose five nations from among those competing in Nagano.

  • You will receive five points for each gold medal won by any of your five nations, three points for every silver medal and one point for every bronze. (NOTE: All events completed prior to this deadline will not be counted in the contest.)

    * At the end of the Olympics, the contestant with the most total points will be the grand prize winner. In the event of a tie, participants will be asked prior to the start of the contest to guess the total number of medals won by the United States at the Nagano Games. (NOTE: This number also will not count any medals won prior to Monday, February 9 at 5 p.m. EST.)
