NAGANO, Japan (AP) — Philippe Bozon scored three goals and assisted on another as France claimed 11th place in the men's Olympic ice hockey tournament with a 5-1 victory over Italy on Thursday.

Bozon's goals, two of which were scored in the first 7:31 of the third period. Italy outshot the French 31-22.

The loss gave Italy a 12th-place finish in the 14-team tournament after both teams finished the preliminary round 1-2-0.

Bozon played four seasons in the NHL with the St. Louis Blues in the early '90s.
