World Championships: 1997 (1st-parallel slalom, 2nd-grand slalom); 1996 (2nd-grand slalom, 19th-freestyle).
U.S. Championships: 1996 (3rd-overall, 5th-grand slalom); 1995 (1st-slalom, 3rd-grand slalom).

Fun Facts


 An alpine and cross country skier in his youth, Jacoby began to snowboard when he was 13. He learned to master difficult terrain during family vacations at the Jackson Hole Ski Area in Wyoming. Since 1995, Jacoby has finished first in a dozen snowboarding events, in World Cup competition.
 He currently operates his own 1963 Piper Cherokee and hopes one day to become a commercial airline pilot. Enjoys kayaking and surfing the Internet.
