This undeveloped park has an Environmental Study Area including a self-guided nature trail.

Size: 6,529 acres

Directions: In Howard and Montgomery counties, along the Patuxent River Valley between Md. Routes 27 and 97.

Seneca Creek Park

Seneca Creek is a day use park, with a 90-acre lake and a disc golf course. Sites of historic interest include old mills, stone quarries and an old schoolhouse.

Size: 6,109 acres

Directions: In Montgomery County, off Clopper Road, 1 1/2 miles west of Gaithersburg. Reached from I-270.
