Potomac Overlook
Regional Park


On the Potomac Palisades, Potomac Overlook offers 100 acres of woodlands. Potomac Overlook serves as the regional center for the Park Authority’s year-round programs of outdoor adventure and human and natural history. Special programs can be organizes for schools and other groups. Volunteer opportunities are available for children, adults and seniors.

Directions: Potomac Overlook is located at the end of Marcey Road, off Military Road, in north Arlington.

Features include:

  • Wildlife and archeological displays
  • Auditorium
  • Nature trails
  • Vegetable, herb, butterfly and wildflower gardens
