Open only on weekends and holidays, this cross-country areas has trails in Pocahontas County, perhaps the state's most beautiful and most undeveloped area.

When the moon is full, take a "moonlight madness" tour on the trails in the Monongahela National Forest.

SNOWSHOE/SILVER CREEK

The "moonlight madness" tours, held when the moon is full, are very popular. Free snowshoe tours of a national wildlife refuge are offered every Sunday afternoon (rent the snowshoes at the center).

BIG BOULDER

BLUE KNOB
