Team Draft Summary Grade

Would have been nice to have landed a big-time left tackle to replace traded Jason Peters, but Bills did end up with four of the draft’s first 51 picks. Got a top pass rusher in Aaron Maybin, and CB Jairus Byrd was a good second-round value. B

First-round CB Vontae Davis is talented, but some teams had concerns about whether he’ll play up to his potential. QB Pat White might not have been worth a second-rounder to other teams, but it was a justified selection for the Dolphins because of his potential in the Wildcat offense. C+

New England

Patriots amassed four second-round picks and helped their secondary in particular with S Patrick Chung and CB Darius Butler. B

New York

Not much quantity, but plenty of quality. They got QB Mark Sanchez, and the price to trade up was reasonable. Adding RB Shonn Greene in the third round was a bonus. A
