Highlights with USA National Team:
Hard work, great attitude and likeable personality led to his winning the 1994 Players' Award

came off the bench to contribute 22 kills and two stuffs to USA win in World Championship pool play opener vs. Germany (9-29-94)

gained valuable experience during '94 World League, including 35-kill effort in narrow loss to Brazil (6-3-94)

sparked Team USA during summer-'94 Banana Boat outdoor tour vs. Canada, leading the team in spiking in three of the five matches for a total of 99 kills (including 30-kill performance at St. Louis, 7-7-94)

saw limited playing time in 1993, but has excelled during playing action during early portion of 1994

regarded as one of the program's top athletes

joined USA program on extended tryout in Feb. 1993 and named to full-time roster that summer
