Major International Competition: has developed into a dependable and tenacious attacker and blocker his 21 kills paved the way in Team USA's bronze-medal-winning performance over Cuba (10-8-94) in the World Championship also leading spiker in Team USA's first two WC pool matches (vs. Germany, 9-29-94 and Argentina, 9-30-94), while providing blocking impetus with seven stuffs in upset of Brazil (10-1-94) was the leading hitter in each of three matches vs. Denmark (Sept.-'94) that were tune-ups for the World Championship was one of few bright spots for USA during winless (0-12) '94 World League campaign rejoined program in spring-1993 and gained full-time status in Aug.-1993 named recipient of the Coaches' Award in 1993 originally joined USA national team during '91 World League campaign
