Mission: National Governing Body for all disciplines of volleyball in the United States, officially recognized by the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). As mandated by the Amateur Sports Act, USA Volleyball is responsible for the growth of the sport in America at the grassroots and most elite levels. USA Volleyball is the parent organization of the USA National Teams (America's Olympic Teams)

Special: The sport of volleyball, which was invented in Holyoke, Mass., turned 100 years old in 1995 and celebrated its centennial with a series of special events throughout the year.
