keyed U.S. victories with statistical leadership in 1994 World Championship vs. Kenya (8 kills, 4 stuffs, 10-21), Czech Republic (16 kills, 2 stuffs, 2 aces, 10-22) and Japan (6 stuffs), helping Team USA win Group D and advance to the quarterfinals..saw limited playing time in 1993, due to participation in Italian pro volleyball league

named most valuable player at the World Championship Qualification Tournament in Ankara, Turkey (1993)
