Highlights With USA National Team: saw limited action in 1993 after playing in Italy named to all-spectacular team at '93 FIVB Grand Champions Cup selected to the all-spectacular team at the '92 Olympics after leading USA to bronze medal with team-high 127 kills and seven aces member of all-spectacular team at the 1992 FIVB Super Four in 1992, named to all-tournament team (top server) at China Tournament and MVP at Wuhan Tournament tabbed 1991 FIVB most valuable player and most outstanding player at '91 World Cup, where United States qualified for '92 Olympics in 1991, named to World All-Star squad and helped team sweep a pair of matches from Soviet Union at '91 World Gala, tallying 36 kills in the two matches top defender at '91 NORCECA and all-tournament pick at Hong Kong Cup nominated for 1990 and 1991 Sullivan Award, presented annually to the outstanding amateur athlete in the country maintained status among world's elite at '90 FIVB Super Four tournament in Japan -- garnered all-tournament honors by leading competition in passing, and placing third in hitting and fourth in blocking came back to USA program in July, 1990 after one-year hiatus compiled 66 kills, 18 blocks and passed a team-leading 119 serves in five matches at '88 Olympics selected to play in 1987 (Peru) and 1989 (Singapore) FIVB World All-Star Galas, but did not attend named MVP at '87 NORCECA six-time recipient of USOC Female Volleyball Athlete of the Year -- 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992 five-time winner USA team MVP award originally joined program in March, 1985

College/High School: second-team all-America and first-team all-conference pick as sophomore also played on Wildcats' softball team inducted into Arizona Hall of Fame in 1992 coached at UA by Rosie Wegrich a 1983 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Quincy, Ill. led team to three consecutive state volleyball titles (1980-82) three-time all-America and all-state selection listed on 1983 Volleyball Monthly Fab 50 roster, and further honored as member of 1990 All-Time Fab 50 elite outstanding prep basketball and softball player coached at NDHS by William Starkey captured USVBA all-America and co-Rookie of the Year honors
