College/High School: helped Bruins win 1990 and 1991 NCAA titles compiled 1,722 kills, 394 total blocks and .342 hitting percentage during career three-time all-Pac-10 Conference selection as well as 1989 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year two-time Honda Award winner for volleyball (1992-93) coached at UCLA by Andy Banachowski also played basketball at UCLA, and claimed All-America and all-conference recognition a 1989 graduate of Taylorsville (Utah) High School, where she earned All-America status in volleyball and basketball led Taylorsville to state titles in both sports as senior played on gold medal-winning team at 1990 U.S. Olympic Festival member of USA junior national team (1988) coached at THS by Jean Widdison
