Slalom events in canoe/kayak will take place at this spectacular setting in the Cherokee National Forest in Polk County, Tennessee, just across the Georgia/Tennessee border. The Ocoee Whitewater Center will provide the first natural whitewater course in Olympic history and includes a permanent course for future competitions. The center is being constructed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and will be leased by ACOG for the Olympic competition. |
