Set against the dramatic backdrop of the world's largest exposed granite monolith, Stone Mountain Park is one of Atlanta's favorite tourist attractions. Archery, track cycling and tennis competitions will be held at this location. Archery facilities and a velodrome are being constructed as temporary facilities that the ACOG will restore to a natural state after the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The tennis complex will be permanent and consists of 20 competition courts and four covered practice courts, including a stadium and two grandstand courts. |
