He will help bolster the Redskins' 3-4 defensive front. Last season recorded 33 tackles and a sack for the Tigers. Will be interesting to see if he's used as a nose tackle or end.
315 (79) (From Miami) Leonard Hankerson WR 6-1 209 Miami
He recorded 72 catches for 1,156 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. Will help bolster a receiver unit that is lacking on size with both Santana Moss (who is a free agent) and Anthony Armstrong both under 6 feet tall.
48 (105) Roy Helu RB 6-0 219 Nebraska
The Redskins moved up to the 105th pick to select the 6-foot, 219-pound Helu, who last season rushed for 1,245 yds and 11 TDs last season. Should help round out a RB unit that also includes Ryan Torain and Keiland Williams.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Gomes will join a crowded safety corps that already includes LaRon Landry, O.J. Atogwe, Reed Doughty, Kareem Moore, Chris Horton, Anderson Russell and Macho Harris.
524 (155) (From New Orleans) Niles Paul WR 6-1 224 Nebraska
Taken with the 155th overall pick, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Paul recorded 39 catches for 516 yards and a touchdown last season for Nebraska. Paul also served as a kick returner for Nebraska, averaging 24.42 yards on kickoffs and 11.43 yards per punt return.

Taken with the 177th pick, the 6-foot-1, 228-pound Westfield High product rushed for 3,932 yards in his Penn State career and earned all-Big Ten honors three years.

The 178th overall pick, the 5-foot-10, 178-pound speedster notched 65 catches for 1,301 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.
710 (213) Brandyn Thompson CB 5-9 180 Boise State
Thompson (5-foot-9, 180 pounds) last season recorded three 31 tackles and three INTs for the Broncos. Doesn't have the greatest speed (4.53-second 40-yard dash), but possesses decent cover skills in addition to being a strong special teams contributor.

The first offensive lineman taken by the Redskins in this draft, the 6-foot-3, 318-pound Hurt played both guard positions at Florida. Tested positive for marijuana at the NFL combine.

The 6-foot-4, 262-pound White played defensive end for the Seminoles, but will convert to outside linebacker for the Redskins. Recorded 58 tackles and eight sacks last season.
750 (253) Chris Neild DT 6-2 319 West Virginia
The 6-foot-2, 319-pound Neild will compete with Ma'ake Kemoeatu and Anthony Bryant for playing time as the anchor of Washington's 3-4 defense.
