Marty Schottenheimer, Head Coach
Coached 15 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Brows, compiling a 145-85-1 regular season record.
Jimmy Raye, Offensive Coordinator
His 25 years of NFL experience include offensive coordinator positions at Kansas City, New England (1990), Tampa Bay (1985-86) and the Los Angeles Rams (1984).
Kurt Schottenheimer, Defensive Coordinator
Has 14 years NFL experience, 12 of those with the Chiefs, where he coached special teams, tight ends and defensive backs before becoming defensive coordinator.
Mike Stock, Special Teams
Has spent 11 seasons in NFL and 27 at college level, including six seasons as Kansas City’s special teams coach.
Joe Pendry, Offensive Line
Marty Schottenheimer hired him to coach Cleveland Browns running backs, then hired him in Kansas City (1989-92). Spent time with Chicago Bears (1993-94) and Carolina Panthers (1995-97) before joining Bills in 1998.
Tony Sparano, Tight Ends
Gained most of his coaching experience in NCAA Division II as head coach of New Haven (1994-98) and offensive coordinator for Boston University (1989-93).
Richard Mann, Wide Receivers
The 19-year NFL veteran has coached receivers for the Baltimore Colts (1982-84), Cleveland Browns (1985-1993), New York Jets (1994-95), Baltimore Ravens (1997-98) and Kansas City Chiefs.
Brian Schottenheimer, Quarterbacks
Has done stints in St. Louis (offensive assistant, 1997); Kansas City (offensive quality control, 1998) and Syracuse (wide receivers, 1999).
Hue Jackson, Running Backs
Has 14 years college coaching, including stints at California (1996), Arizona State (1992-94), Cal-State Fullerton, Southern California and Pacific (1987-89).
Mike Trgovac, Defensive Line
The only returning member of the Redskins’ coaching staff, he had worked under former defensive coordinator Ray Rhodes at Green Bay and Philadelphia.
Greg Manusky, Linebackers
Spent three of his 12 seasons as an NFL player with the Redskins (1988-90) before playing for Minnesota (1991-93) and Kansas City (1994-99).
Jerry Holmes, Defensive Backs
A 12-year NFL veteran, Holmes spent four years working with defensive backs at West Virginia and at Hampton (linebackers, defensive coordinator).
