Your Thoughts on the Redskins' Loss vs. Buffalo

We asked our readers to react to Washington's loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Here is a sampling of the responses.

This is getting frustrating. I think we may be on the verge of another total collapse. The offense isn't as good as we think and the defense is the worst we've ever had (maybe the worst ever!). I like Norv, but it's time he and Mike Nolan move on. If the owner wants a shake up, he should do it.

Until the Redskins develop a better pass rush, they will be mediocre.

Hmmm...5-3, atop the NFC Least, weak upcoming schedule. Yeah, let's fire the coach! C'mon Skins fans, at least make an attempt at exercising some rationality. Face it, just about all the teams in the NFL are hovering around mediocrity. The Redskins have as good a chance as every other (lousy) team to make the playoffs. Keep Norv; fire him at the end of the season after the first round playoff loss to the Rams/Cowboys/Vikings/Packers/Lions/whomever.

Who are these guys who make up the defense? If they had any pride, they would sacrifice their paychecks to charity and apologize for impersonating NFL players.

HOW CAN YOU EXPECT TO WIN GAMES, IF THE OPPONENT TEAM SCORES 30 PLUS POINTS IN ALMOST EVERY GAME? SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE DEFENSE AND FAST!!!

It's inexcusable for the players to be so unmotivated. I guess when there's no accountability for poor performance, that's what you're going to get. Norv is a great offensive mind, but when it comes to being a leader he gets a big fat "F". That's the only thing this team is lacking, is leadership. Snyder needs to send Turner to some kind of leadership training course. Maybe Quantico has something to offer! Or maybe Snyder's bark is worse than his bite....

Before Mr. Snyder continues looking elsewhere for help with the Defense, some one accountable has gotta to go first and soon!

You have to be a die-hard fan or a fool to have to live with what this Mike Nolan led defense is doing to this team...do the Skins risk the balance of the season by terminating him & changing philosophy to Armsparger or ride out the tide--again in him favor in hopes like "Lucky Charms" we'll magically catch on to become Tampa Bay's, Miami's or KC's defense in the next 8 weeks? It's killing the offense by putting undue pressure to score to keep the defense from blowing games week to week & ultimately giving Norv the bad rap that he can't coach...let's put the stats & the bad play behind us once & for all because every game the 8 weeks is big despite the records...doesn't 5-3 beat 1-7?
