Brad Johnson threw an interception on the Redskins' final drive to seal Washington's second straight loss.

Albert Connell had seven catches for 211 yards and three touchdowns as the Redskins extended their winning streak to five games by beating the Jaguars.

Week 9: Tennessee Titans 27, Redskins 21
Derrick Mason's 69-yard punt return and cornerback Samari Rolle's 81-yard interception return sparked the Titans as the Redskins' five-game winning streak came to an end.

Week 10: Arizona Cardinals 16, Redskins 15
Aeneas Williams returned a first-quarter fumble 103 yards for a touchdown as the Cardinals handed the Redskins their second straight loss.

Week 12: Redskins 33, St. Louis Rams 20
Lead by backup quarterback Jeff George, the Redskins stormed back from a 10-point, first-quarter deficit to beat the defending Super Bowl champion Rams.

Week 13: Philadelphia Eagles 23, Redskins 20
Place kicker Eddie Murray missed a 44-yard field goal attempt late in the fourth quater as the Redskins stumbled against the Eagles.

Week 14: New York Giants 9, Redskins 7
A late comeback bid led by backup quarterback Jeff George failed because of a controversial instant-replay reversal and a missed 49-yard field goal attempt by Eddie Murray.

Week 15: Dallas Cowboys 32, Redskins 13
Terry Robiskie made his debut as head coach but couldn't spark the Redskins as Emmitt Smith ran for 150 yards on 23 carries to lead the Cowboys in a rout.

Week 16: Pittsburgh Steelers 24, Redskins 3
The Redskins were eliminated from postseason contention after a lethargic 24-3 loss to the Steelers in the final game at Three Rivers Stadium.

Week 17: Redskins 20, Arizona Cardinals 3
The Redskins gave interim head coach Terry Robiskie a victory and pushed their record back to .500 by beating the Cardinals in the season finale.
