John Hall
Q: What does this win mean to the team?
A: It's big to get off on the right foot. I don't have any hard feelings against the Jets, and I don't think any of the other guys do. They were just a team we had to play tonight, and we had to get a win, and it just feels good.

Q: What about beating your former team?
A: I don't want to make a big deal out of it. They're a good team. I have a lot of friends on that team, and I have a lot of respect for everybody over there. I love those guys to death, but I'm on a different team now.

Q: What was the difference between the first and second half?
A: We may have come out a little flat. They made some plays and made some things happen. That's what happens in these games. You have two very even teams, and fortunately we were just able to pull this out.

Patrick Ramsey
Q: Can you talk about how it felt to win the opener?
A: It felt great, but the only reason it felt great was because the offensive line and the running backs opened up the lanes and ran so well. Laveranues, Rod and all the receivers made such good plays, and Robert [Royal] had a big catch at the goal line. It was a team effort. Our defense stopped them when we needed them to, and it was a great effort. We are very excited to come away with a win.

Q: Can you talk about the momentum change in the second quarter?
A: There are a lot of things we could have done better in that period. We are going to watch tape and learn from it. We came through when we had to, and that is what is important. We turned it on and were able to get down there at the end, and John made a great field goal to win the game.

Champ Bailey
Q: What are your thoughts on the win?
A: It's always good to get off to a good start. You have a guy with over 100 yards receiving. John kicked three field goals and the game-winner. We couldn't have written it up any better.

Q: Do you feel the team proved something tonight?
A: There is no one in the league that can check us. It means a lot to get this victory. Every win is a great win.

Jessie Armstead
Q: What are your thoughts about the win?
A: I think every guy on our team stepped up today. Guys flew around and made plays. We won as a team.

Q: Was this a perfect win?
A: We could not have written a better script. It was a bestseller. That's our job, LaVar, Jeremiah and myself. We have to make plays. When we stick together, we come out victorious.
