KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany, Nov 9 – Kaiserslautern qualified for the third round of the UEFA Cup on Thursday despite losing 3-2 at home to Greek side Iraklis Salonika.

The visitors, who lost 3-1 in the first leg, fought back from 1-0 down and scored twice in injury time for a dramatic win. But Kaiserslautern qualified 5-4 on aggregate.

The 1998 German champions move in front when defender Harry Koch converted a penalty after striker Miroslav Klose was brought down in the box in the 25th minute.

French midfielder Youri Djorkaeff made it 2-0 four minutes later, beating former Kaiserslautern goalkeeper Andreas Reinke from just inside the box.

Michalis Konstantinou reduced the arrears for the visitors from close range in the 54th minute, then levelled in the dying moments. Brazilian striker Fofonka hit the winner seconds later.
