The art of stretching a defense till it breaks
Mike Shanahan's Denver teams were renowned for making all-pros out of obscure offensive linemen and late-round running backs. His offense sends running backs inside and outside behind blockers operating in tandem. In addition, Shanahan will go into his bag of tricks once in a while and produce run plays that leave defenses wondering what just happened. This is a good example of Shanahan's ability to stretch defenses horizontally with the running game.
