Phoenix/ATP Tour World Doubles Championship in Hartford after runner-up
finish in 1996 In Hartford, went 2-2 with victory over No. 1 Wood
bri dge-Wood fo rde in round-robin play The duo reached Australian
Open final for the second consecutive season, defeating Eitingh-Haarhuis
in the SF before losing to WoodbridgeWoodforde in the final One month
later, won Philadelphia title (d. E. Ferreira-Galbraith) The duo
went 12-4 during North American summer hardcourt season, winning the
title in Los Angeles, reaching the finals in Montreal and New Haven and

and Wimbledon Junior doubles titles, becoming the first Canadians to win
a Grand Slam title Finished that year as the No. 2 team in the

in 14 ties Played in Atlanta Olympics and lost in the first round.
