Their First Dance

President Andrew Shepherd (Michael Douglas) and Sydney Ellen Wade (Annette Bening) had their first date at the French Embassy. They took the dance floor alone. Their photo appeared in the Washington Times, the Los Angeles Times and USA Today. The Washington Post didn't show up in the film because the newspaper only allows actual pages to be used.
