Scene from this movie Sylvester Stallone plays Kit Latura, a New York taxi driver whose cab is just about to enter the underwater tunnel to New Jersey when there's an explosion. It occurred after a chase between carjackers and cops caused multiple accidents.

Seeking oxygen, the explosion thunders through the tunnel, scorching and killing motorists. The dozen or so survivors are trapped in the middle, hemmed in by rubble and facing the possibility of being burned, suffocated or drowned.

Latura, former chief of the Emergency Medical Service of New York, was fired when a mission he led caused men to die under his command. He's determined to redeem himself and enters to tunnel in an attempt to lead the survivors out. -- Desson Howe
