Critic's Corner Rita Kempley - Style section, "Sheer torture, the very definition of unfunniness itself." Go to Video Finder Joe Pesci’s mean-spirited mob stooge loses his heads -- proof of a successful hit -- when a guileless med student (Andy Comeau) picks up the wrong duffel bag at the San Diego airport. Pesci pursues the youth to Mexico, where he is vacationing with his fiance’s wealthy, disapproving parents (the desiccated duo of Dyan Cannon and George Hamilton). The resulting comedy of errors is sheer torture, the very definition of unfunniness itself. Screenwriter Tom Schulman ("Dead Poets Society," "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids") essentially meets his Waterloo in this directorial debut. -- Rita Kempley Director: Tom Schulman Cast: Joe Pesci; Kristy Swanson; David Spade; Dyan Cannon; Andy Comeau; George Hamilton Running Time: Filmographies: Joe Pesci; Kristy Swanson
