'Lone Star'

The discovery in the desert of a skeleton, an old sheriffís badge and a masonic ring leads new sheriff Sam Deeds to launch a murder investigation in the border town of Frontera. He soon discovers the bones belong to Charlie Wade, a larger-than-life lawman who used to run this town with a brutal, graft-greedy hand.

Samís late father, Buddy, adulative local lore has it, ran Wade out of town several years ago. Samís investigation becomes more than just routine. Itís now a reckoning across time with his own father and Frontera itself.
