Kermit and the gang go to outer space.

Gonzo the muppet has just suffered another nightmare, this time a dream in which Noah rejects him from the Ark because there's only one of him. In this passable but not particularly inspired Muppets movie, the hook-nosed fuzzy becomes convinced his roots reach up there. A series of signs, including a telekinetically delivered message from outer space that arranges the letters of his alphabet breakfast cereal, convinces him there's a whole Gonzo world in outer space and it's time to phone home. With the help of the usual suspects including Kermit, Miss Piggy and Rizzo the Rat Gonzo tries to find the place where his kind want to meet him and bring him home. The story's serviceable enough for kids, but it whizzes by without much comic incident. Even the cameo players, such as F. Murray Abraham, Andie McDowell and Rob Schneider, make lackluster appearances. There is, however, one pleasingly amusing exception to the general unfunniness: a muppet called Pepe le Prawn who puts an "OK?" on the end of every sentence. If they do nothing else right next time, the Henson people should at least bring back Pepe!
