Following are the top 20 network primetime shows last week, ranked according to the percentage of the nation's 98 million TV households that watched, as measured by Nielsen Media Research. A share represents the percentage of actual sets-in-use tuned to a particular program when it aired.

The Academy Awards numbers -- the best in 15 years -- delivered a rare first place to ABC last week as the other five networks devoted the evening to repeats . . .

The Oscars drew twice as many viewers as its nearest competitor, NBC's "Seinfeld" repeat . . .

For the week ending March 29, ABC averaged a 10.5/18, compared with a 9.5/16 for CBS, an 8.4/14 for NBC, a 5.6/9 for Fox, a 2.7/4 for WB and a 2.2/3 for UPN . . .

All but ABC had averages below their season-to-date numbers . . .

Two midseason replacements, NBC's "Lateline" and ABC's "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" tied for 21st . . .
