    Use and Operation
Taking a picture: Almost no click; very little tactile feedback. Six-second wait between shots. But: There seems to be a tiny delay between what you see in the viewfinder and what you get in the picture.
Image output: About 6 minutes for a full roll of film.
Battery life: More than 200 shots; uses three AA rechargeables.
Image quality: Crisp, clean picturesÉ high contrast images were sharp, and soft areas were soft without being fuzzy. But questionable color rendition, a blue sky appeared purple and a bookshelf took on

    Overall Assessment
How much would you pay for this? $400
Comments: Convenient size and hand-friendly shape... Canon got this just right. Bundled software includes handy Canon Stitch utility, which welds together photos to make panoramas, something very difficult to do with analog film. But tech support is a toll call; Win 95 software had serial-port conflicts.
