A few weeks ago, we wrote about Fairfax County's online real-estate assessment database , which lets you scope out the residences of friends and neighbors. We found out afterward that Maryland does this idea one better– records for the entire state are available–and the International Organization of Assessing Officers also tracks these sites. While the District lacks such an online database, the list of D.C.'s top tax deadbeats can be almost as entertaining.
