Live in the District? Have a problem or a question for local government? The frequently asked questions page at the new and vastly improved official city site can help, but DCWatch's phone "book" is far more comprehensive. Not all its numbers are even in the District, but they're all useful–Bee Control, Pothole Repair, multiple police departments and transportation services from Abandoned Vehicles to Traffic Signals. There are also links to editorial items, including a discussion list ("TheMail"), columns on local issues and links to community groups.
